Tony Yayo, also known as Marvin Bernard, is an American rapper and member of the rap group G-Unit. He was born on March 31, 1978, in Queens, New York, and grew up in the South Jamaica neighborhood. He was a childhood friend of 50 Cent and the two became close while serving time in prison together. Yayo was signed to G-Unit Records in 2002 and released his debut album, "Thoughts of a Predicate Felon," in 2005. He has collaborated with several prominent artists in the hip-hop industry, including Eminem, Snoop Dogg, and Mobb Deep.
